Community support gets ABQ man out of Otero detention center!

Community support goes a long way! Juan Martinez, a father of four and long time Albuquerque resident, was detained by ICE and held in the Otero County Processing Center since December. Public pressure by Juan's family, the New Mexico Faith Coalition for Immigrant Justice, and El Centro resulted in an immigration judge giving him a $5,000 bond offer. DMSC's Fianza Fund and Undocumedia joined in the effort to free Juan and helped raise more than the $5,000 needed!
